Milligan Turkey Farm

Grove City once had one of the largest turkey farms in all of Ohio.  The farm, which housed as many as 15,000 turkeys, was on Hoover Road where the Grove City High School complex is located today.  It was operated by George and Martha Milligan and it sold and marketed turkeys for 20 years.  Before the school was built, an old grave had to be relocated.  The grave was once located just outside the band room entrance.
