Man Without Pants

Abe Goldhart, a Grove City Chevrolet dealer and one-time Grove City motorcycle marshal, was playing pool with Howard Reynolds at what is now Planks when a youthful man came running up Harrisburg Pike wearing nothing but a shirt and his underwear.  The man, who had consumed a considerable amount of wine, claimed he had been robbed of his trousers, hat, shoes and money.   After two hours showing police the place of the crime and without any verification a crime had occurred, the intoxicated man was told by police that, “As far as we are concerned your money and clothes are gone.”
