Grove City in 1920s
Orin Breckenridge, superintendent of Grove City schools, said he felt one day Grove City would be a part of Columbus. Breckenridge, at the time, was the Grove City postmaster. A. A. McEndree, the high school principal, told the Columbus Citizen “Grove City has a great future.” E. A. Bennet, of Ben’s Lunch, said business improved 75 percent during Beulah Park race meets.
