Sawmills and grist mills were common in Southwest Franklin County at one time in history. The oldest to survive was the Grove City Farmers Exchange. A mill at Harrisburg produced Glad Tidings flour and the Grove City Milling Company offered Well Maid Flour to its customers. This 36-page booklet is a must read.
