Religious Worship Disturbance

You wouldn’t want to disturb or annoy any congregation or assembly gathered for a religious worship in Grove City in the late 1800s.  The Village Council passed an ordinance stating that a noise, rude or indecent behavior or profane discourse within a place of worship or nearby to create a disturbance will be guilty of a misdemeanor and fined not less than $10 or more than $50.
